Shehan Chandrasekera

Shehan Chandrasekera is the co-founder of JAG CPAs & Co and leads the technology & startup niche in the practice. Shehan is a published author, CPE instructor and a frequent technical contributor to various social media platforms. His article on “Virtual Currency and Tax Ramifications” was featured in “The Tax Adviser” magazine sponsored by the AICPA. He was one of the first CPAs to have a published article on Cryptocurrency taxation. He was awarded the Outstanding Young CPA of the year by Houston CPA society and has been nominated for the Rising Star Award in TX for his contribution to the CPA profession in Texas. He also serves as a fractional CFO for several startups ranging from fin-tech to space-tech and enjoys working as the Associate Director of Houston Blockchain Alliance.
